About DeepRoute

Mission

DeepRoute is a multi-tenant API gateway: one edge that routes, secures, and meters traffic for many isolated organisations. Tenants register services, define routes and policies, and publish APIs to their own developer portal — without sharing configuration, keys, or logs with anyone else.

The product is built around a two-plane model. The control plane is the admin console, where operators manage routing, security, resilience, and compliance. The data plane is the gateway edge itself, where consumer API keys authenticate every call.

How it is built

• The data plane and control APIs are written in Rust — chosen for predictable latency and memory safety on the request path.
• The console and developer portal are a Next.js application, with internationalisation, theming, and a metadata-driven help system.
